distribution.
A growing number of consumers are demanding healthier, more environmentally friendly food
products. Food companies have been responding to these demands on an individual basis.
We believe it is time to come together, share vital information, and collaborate to create
a more sustainable system for the generations to come. BCSF affords members this opportunity.
Business Coalition members will include public or privately owned companies, small and large, domestic or international
in scope, which work collectively to aggregate demand, identify best practices, and improve the social, environmental,
and financial performance of specific supply chains. The BCSF will address a broad set of issues including farmer income,
community impact, land use, water use, packaging, pesticides, transportation and energy consumption.
