Soft Sponge cake filled with layers of zabaglione and coffee cream, dusted with cocoa powder and garished with "Savoiardi" biscuits (lady fingers). Comes in a 15X5 rectangular shape. Suggested servings is 10.
INGREDIENTS:
Sugar, liqueur, wheat flour, eggs, rehydrated soluble coffee, vegetable margarine, glucose syrup, skimmed milk, egg yolk, Marsala wine, pasteurized milk, butter, coconut oil, honey, cream, milk-protein, modified starch, cocoa, baking powder: disodium dihydrogen dophoshate, sodium bicarbonate; rice starch, dextrose, emulsifier: mono-and di-glycerides of fatty acid acid; gelatin, stabilizer: carrageenan gum; flavors
PREPARATIONS:
Keep frozen; thaw under refrigeration for 7-8 hours prior to use or at room temperature for 3-4 days; after defrosting store under refrigeration for no more than 3 days. Do not refreeze.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
For all uses from banquets, coffee shops, high end restaurants, can be pre-sliced and refrigerated until ready to serve. Create signature item by saucing large plate and garnishing with cocoa, coffee beans or fresh fruit.
