Ingredients

•  Crispy Barbeque Onions
•  5 lbs. SYSCO Classic all-purpose flour
•  1/2 cup SYSCO Classic coarse salt
•  1/2 cup each SYSCO Classic granulated sugar, SYSCO Classic dark brown sugar
•  1/2 cup each chili powder, Casa Solana ground cumin, SYSCO Imperial/McCormick ground black pepper
•  1 cup SYSCO Imperial/McCormick sweet paprika
•  6 lbs. SYSCO Imperial onions, cut into 1/8-inch rings
•  SYSCO Imperial vegetable oil, for frying

Preparation

1.  Combine flour, salt, sugars and spices in large bowl. Mix well.
1.  Toss onion slices in seasoned flour, separating rings to coat evenly. Fry in 365 degrees F oil until browned and crisp. Drain well.
