Ingredients
| | 5 lbs. SYSCO Classic all-purpose flour |
| | 1/2 cup SYSCO Classic coarse salt |
| | 1/2 cup each SYSCO Classic granulated sugar, SYSCO Classic dark brown sugar |
| | 1/2 cup each chili powder, Casa Solana ground cumin, SYSCO Imperial/McCormick ground black pepper |
| | 1 cup SYSCO Imperial/McCormick sweet paprika |
| | 6 lbs. SYSCO Imperial onions, cut into 1/8-inch rings |
| | SYSCO Imperial vegetable oil, for frying |
Preparation
| 1. | Combine flour, salt, sugars and spices in large bowl. Mix well. |
| 1. | Toss onion slices in seasoned flour, separating rings to coat evenly. Fry in 365 degrees F oil until browned and crisp. Drain well. |
