Classic Spice Waffles with Peaches and Strawberries

Ingredients
| | 1 tsp. SYSCO Imperial/McCormick salt |
| | 4 tsp. SYSCO baking powder |
| | 1/2 tsp. SYSCO Imperial/McCormick nutmeg |
| | 1/2 tsp. SYSCO Imperial/McCormick cinnamon |
| | 1-2/3 cups Wholesome Farms milk, warmed slightly |
| | 1/3 cup SYSCO butter, melted |
| | 4 large, ripe SYSCO Imperial peaches |
| | 1 basket ripe SYSCO Imperial strawberries, hulled and sliced |
| | SYSCO Imperial lemon, to taste |
| | 1 cup SYSCO Wholesome Farms heavy cream |
| | 1/8 tsp. SYSCO Imperial/McCormick vanilla |
Preparation
| 1. | For waffles, mix flour, salt, baking powder, sugar and spices together in large bowl. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil and melted butter until very smooth. Combine with dry ingredients and mix until smooth. |
| 2. | For fruit topping, dip peaches in boiling water for approximately 15 seconds or until the skin loosens; then peel gently. Slice and toss gently with strawberries, sugar and lemon, adjusting sugar according to ripeness of fruit. |
| 3. | For whipped cream topping, whip cream to soft peaks using electric mixer. Then, finish whipping by hand while slowly adding sugar and vanilla. |
| 4. | To serve: Bake waffles in waffle iron until golden brown. Garnish with generous portion of fruit and whipped cream. Serve immediately. |
