Ingredients
| | Fresh Tomato Juice "Cocktail" |
| | 24 lb. fresh Florida tomatoes |
| | 2 tbsp. SYSCO Imperial seasoned salt |
| | 1/4 tsp. Per serving of additional, optional seasonings: |
| | SYSCO Imperial celery salt |
| | SYSCO House Recipe red pepper sauce |
| | SYSCO Imperial House Recipe |
| | SYSCO Imperial ground cumin |
| | SYSCO Imperial chili powder |
| | SYSCO Imperial Italian seasoning and garlic |
| | juice of fresh SYSCO Imperial apple |
Preparation
| 1. | Use tomatoes held at room temperature until fully ripe. Core tomatoes; cut into pieces small enough to fit into a juice extractor feed tube. |
| 2. | Place tomatoes into juice extractor feed tube. Juice tomatoes according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a container. Stir in seasoned salt and optional seasoning, if desired. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. (Tomato pulp may be used in stock, if desired.) |
