Ingredients

•  Grilled Onion-Chicken Pita Sandwich
•  3 lbs. SYSCO Classic chicken breast, boned, skinned
•  2 lbs. SYSCO Natural red and yellow onion, 1/2-in. thick slices
•  1 lb. 8 oz. Red bell pepper wedges
•  12 SYSCO Classic pita pocket bread, whole wheat, halved
•  48 SYSCO Imperial tomato slices
•  24 SYSCO Natural romaine lettuce leaves
•  12 oz. SYSCO Block & Barrell mozzarella cheese slices

Preparation

1.  Grill chicken, onion slices and bell pepper wedges.
2.  For each sandwich, fill pita bread half with 2 tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf. And 2 ounces chicken, 1 slice grilled onion, 1 ounce bell pepper and 1/2 ounce mozzarella slice.
