Sysco Baraboo is a local foodservice distributor, servicing Wisconsin, Northwestern Illinois, Dubuque, IA and parts of Upper Michigan. Our products can be found in restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities; virtually any place that serves food away from home. At Sysco, we offer our customers more good things than they expect. We go beyond our basic commitment to get customers the foodservice products they want, when they want them, at the right price and as promised. From product procurement, cutting, and packaging to delivery, Buckhead embodies the mission statement, "Provide the best possible product at the best possible price." A wholly owned subsidiary of Sysco since 1999, Buckhead is a premier "Center of the Plate" purveyor, specializing in portion control cut steaks and fresh, portion-cut seafood. Buckhead also stocks one of the largest inventories of dry aged USDA Prime beef in the United States. 

Our new small-box steak program allows restaurants to purchase as few as four individually cryo-vaced premium steaks at a time.



Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative

The Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative (WFHC) is a farmer-led cooperative owned by the producers and the Wisconsin Farmers Union. The WFHC helps local farmers by providing them with the opportunity, through marketing, sales, aggregation, and logistics, to access wholesale markets they could not access easily before.

Sysco Baraboo’s partnership with the hub makes it easy for restaurants to buy locally grown produce. More importantly, our partnership makes it safe for restaurants to buy and feature local produce:

  • GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) or Primus Audited Farms
  • Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI)
  • Owners and Management committed to food safety
  • Food Safety Manger on staff
  • HAACP and GHP certified warehouses
  • SQF Compliant
  • 3rd Party ISO certified
  • Food Safety and Quality Management System in place
