Founded in 1935 as Appert’s Foodservice, we have grown and joined the Sysco team. Our goal as a broadline distributor is to provide quality, friendly service with the delivery of every complete and accurate order. We distribute a variety of national and Sysco brands to meet our customer’s needs. Safely delivering quality food to our customers is just one objective of our foodservice distribution. We are continually providing professional consultative services from our marketing associates as well as new technology to help our restaurateurs be successful in their business. Two unique features of Sysco Western Minnesota are our retail store that is open to the public, and also our USDA-inspected processing facility where we produce our own unique items.

Sysco drivers are responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer and unloading/delivering various products to an assigned route schedule. Our drivers have positive, friendly attitudes that help build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet the needs and expectations.
Our warehouse position is responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, labeling product using SOS label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
Our production crew is definitely a cut above the rest. Every member of our team can have a sense of satisfaction knowing that they contribute to our bottom line. With both day and night shifts, this talented team is busy ensuring that Specialty Meat lives up to our reputation.
